Kevin Oakes, Owner
 
I have been an estate agent now for 15 years and really enjoy the challenges of such a complex, varied, stressful but also rewarding job ... most of the time! I love meeting new people, seeing their homes, hearing about their plans, and then making it all happen for them. My staff feel exactly the same, they are an extension of me. They don't work for me, they work with me, and with you, and the moment they don't feel the way I do, is the moment we part ways. A great team around you is critical as I can't do it all.  
 
Since founding Danson Property Services in late 2014 we've gone from strength to strength often during testing times in the housing market and all the unknowns running a business can drop on you when you least expect it. As a result, personally, and as a company, we are stronger for it. We've improved systems and procedures, learnt what works and what doesn't, and now we're ready to expand, and fast.  
 
Welling has seen a reduction in agents over that time, but an increase in quality across the board. I am honest enough to admit most agents in Welling are pretty good at what they do - but none do things quite the way we do, and I'm often asked why we take the stance we do - by customers and competitors. It's because we believe in what we do, and if we do it well, nothing else matters.  
 
When working with myself, and my staff, you will get complete and utter dedication to doing what is best for you, not us. As if we deliver the first, we get the second anyway. We get another good word of mouth recommendation, another board in the ground, another smile, handshake and key exchange. That is what a business is built on. Looking after people and giving them what they want.

I have worked as an estate agent for Danson Property Services since 2017 and have been working within the industry from the tender age of 19 and I've learned so much during my career, excelling quickly to senior and management positions due to my genuine love & interest of property. I've lived in the area from the age of 14 and I'm currently living locally, so I know Welling like the back of my hand. If you have any questions about the local schools, transport links or commuting times, I'm happy to advise. 
 
I love working here at Danson as I've never worked for a company with such experienced and knowledgable property experts. Our team are friendly and efficient, unlike many agents I've worked for in the past. We are a small, family-run business with a great reputation in the local area. We specialise in sales and have the shortest transaction time of all the agents in Welling. I like to think we take the stigma away from estate agency as we offer an upstanding service to our clients, getting people moving faster and minimising risks during the sales process by educating our vendors, sharing our knowledge and updating them every step of the way. 
 
As a growing business, most of our clients are recommended to us by family members, friends and neighbours which is why it's crucial for us to offer the best service and experience to our clients, in order to keep the good word spreading, which keeps our business running! Which is not something we take for granted here at Danson. 
 
As I oversee the sales department I am involved in your transaction from start to finish. The feedback that I get from my clients is excellent as the communication they receive from me is regular and consistent. I take the time to get to know all of the properties that we list, which enables me to assist my potential buyers to the best of my ability with any questions they may have, allowing me to sell our properties faster. 
 
I love meeting new people and finding out if and how I can assist them. I take every opportunity to expand our business by exhausting every lead that comes through our office as again, we do not take any of our clients for granted, buyers & sellers alike. 
 
Kevin, the owner here, is my boss but we work side by side everyday. Unlike larger companies, we see the hard work that's put in on both sides on a daily basis. We have mutual respect for each other through our love of property and our experience of working in all market conditions and achieving the best results, regardless. We work equally as hard to generate new business and will go above and beyond to retain the business that we have, not because we have forced our clients to sign lengthy contracts but, because our clients are happy with the job that we do and understand the dedication and commitment we offer to our customers from day one.

Afrahim Hussain, Lettings Manager
 
My father was a builder and a property investor which is what sparked my interest in property. This led to my entry into estate agency as a lettings negotiator in London which is when I fell in love with lettings and have never looked back. I have since been working within various sectors of the property industry for over 8 years. In this time I have covered all things relating to lettings and property investment. From lettings legislation and the rental market, building and development work to property management and maintenance; ultimately helping to maximise returns on all of my clients' investments. 
 
As the lettings manager, my unique background and experience with all things relating to property and in particular lettings allows me to give advice based on first-hand experience to ensure all my clients can maximise profits on their investments. Whether you need advice on refurbishments, building works, increasing your investment portfolio, lettings legislation or general management, you can count on me. Being a landlord myself also means I am much better positioned to put myself in my client's shoes and give honest advice based on years of professional and personal experience within the property industry to ensure their investment is protected and profitable. 
 
Having started my career as an estate agent in London, I have been able to work with many experienced professionals in a very competitive environment. This has allowed me to not only gain invaluable knowledge and experience regarding the industry but also to adopt a hands-on, proactive approach to business, to ensure I am consistently exceeding expectations. 
 
I have worked very well with Kevin previously when he had set up in Clapham, and we are working together again. The reason I have reunited with Kevin is due to the views and values we share regarding our roles and estate agency. Estate agents do not have the best reputation, which is what we are trying to change. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on doing things differently and working in the best interests of our clients and not our own pockets. I feel it is this approach that has helped us most in expanding our business and brand as the majority of our clients come through recommendations due to the level of service we offer. Working within an independent, family-run business like Danson Property Services means I can offer a completely tailored service working around each client instead of the other way around.
